Short CV
Roula (Chariklia) Chatzaki received her Bachelor and Master degrees in Applied Informatics and Multimedia from Technological Educational Institute of Crete – School of Engineering, Department of Informatics Engineering, in 2012 and 2016 respectively. She earned her master degree with academic distinction for the best score of 9.38/10.00. From 2012 to 2016 she had been a member of the Computational BioMedicine Laboratory (CBML) at the Institute of Computer Science of FORTH, while from 2014 till today she has been collaborating with the Biomedical Informatics & eHealth Laboratory of the Hellenic Mediterranean University. Her research interests include the areas of Computational Neuroscience, Biomedical Image and Signal Processing, Affective Computing, Mental Health, Smart eHealth and mHealth services.
From January 2020 she is a PhD candidate in the research area of Biomedical Informatics and Biomedical Engineering, studying in the advice of Professor Manolis Tsiknakis the research topic “A multimodal approach for the assessment of mental stress based on the analysis of physiological signals” in the Hellenic Mediterranean University, in the school of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
