Short CV
Elsa Pavlidou received her Bachelor’s degree in Informatics Engineering – Software Engineering from Technological Educational Institute of Crete – School of Engineering, Department of Informatics Engineering, in September 2020. Since September 2020, she is an MSc student of the Postgraduate Program of “Informatics Engineering” in Hellenic Mediterranean University (HMU) and is collaborating with the Computational BioMedicine Laboratory (CBML) of Foundation for Research and Technology (FORTH). Her main interests are machine learning, biomedical informatics, affective computing, mobile apps and usability. She is currently conducting her master thesis “Multimodal pain intensity assessment based on physiological biosignals” under the supervision of Professor Manolis Tsiknakis. The purpose of her thesis is to develop computational, predictive models and conduct validation experiments by using multimodal physiological biosignals such as Electrocardiogram, Electromyogram and Galvanic Skin Response.
